The whois database is a publically available registry containing the ownership details of registered domain names. 34SP.com do not run or maintain this system or the information displayed. The various top level registries for the domain name undertake this. Different registries exist for various domain name types.
To register a domain name we are obliged to provide full and accurate details of the registrant. False details are strictly prohibited; any domain with false details stands to be invalidated.
How the data supplied for the registration is then displayed in the whois database publicly is up to the registry in question. We have no control over this, other than passing registrant details onto the registry.
We can update the information for you, but we do need accurate information to pass onto the registry.
Once you have updated your information in the Account Management Page simply mail us and ask us to update the whois record for you.
Alternately, for a charge of £5 (that covers two years) we (34SP.com Ltd) can become the owner of the domain name, and as such our contact details will be shown in a whois.
To have this applied on your domain, simply login to https://www.34sp.com/login with your registered email address, and password.
Click the "Products" link on the right hand side.
Click the "Domains" link
Click Upgrade next to the domain name
From the list, select "Domain WHOIS opt out service", then continue the payment process on-line.
Please Note: Our whois opt out service is not available to .uk domain names.
