For those who have purchased the spam filtering option, this tutorial will help you set up message filters in Outlook / Outlook Express.

Outlook express does not apply mail filters to IMAP mail connections.

Message Filters

To set up a new mail filter, click "Tools" in the toolbar, then choose "Message Filters"

From this screen, you can add new filters, edit and delete filters for each mail account that you have set up in Outlook.

Add new filter

Click the New button
Then tick the 'Where the Subject line contains specific words'. Then, in the 'Rule Description' section, click the blue 'contains specific words', and type the name of the subject the spam filter is giving spam messages

In the 'Select the Actions gor your rule' section, tick the 'Move it to the specified folder' option. In the 'Rule Description' section, click the blue 'specified', and select what folder you would like the mail moved to.

Give the rule a name, to remind you what it does

If you already have spam in your inbox, you can run the filter, by selecting the appropriate filter and pressing the Apply Now button.
