Depending on the FTP client you use, the terms used here may be slightly different. To upload using FTP, you will need to set the following options:

Address/Hostname: ftp.yourdomain.ext (Please replace .ext with .com /.co.uk /.net etc)
Username: FTP Username
Password: FTP Password
Port: 21

Depending on your FTP client, you may also need to specify a remote folder. This refers to the folder on the server where your files need to be uploaded to. If you need to set this option, you must enter /httpdocs

We also provide more comprehensive FTP tutorials here -> http://support.34sp.com/ftp-and-uploading/ftp-tutorials/

Once you have connected to the server, most FTP clients show two windows. One window will display the contents of your computer and one the contents of your account on our server. You should make sure you are in the httpdocs in the server window. You then should drag and drop your files from the window showing your computer to the window showing the server. This will upload the selected files to your account.

Your first page needs to be named index.html or index.htm If you use index.htm you must first delete the index.html already on the server in your httpdocs folder.
