Beginning

Start Dreamweaver. Go to the 'Manage Sites' window as shown below. On the 'Site' window click the 'New' button.

Defining sites

On the 'Site Definition' window, as shown below, enter your site details, and press Next

On the second page of the 'Site Definition' window select 'FTP' from the 'How do you connect to your remote server' list. Now type in the following information:

FTP Host: ftp.sitename
Host Directory: httpdocs/
Login: your FTP username
Password: your FTP password
